Why is the difference between Short-Term Rental (STR) and Long-Term Rental (LTR)?

Anything less than 30 days is considered Short-Term Rental (STR). Hood River requires a permit to rent for less than 30 days. We have strived to comply with all county requirements, so StoryBook Glade is no longer offering STR for less than 30 days. If interested in renting more than 30 days, it would be considered a Long-Term rental, and no permit is required. Therefore, we are focused on rentals of 30+ days.
